Welcome to the homepage of the Association for Research in Personality (ARP). ARP is a scientific organization, founded in 2001, devoted to bringing together the diversity of scholars whose research contributes to the understanding of personality processes, structure, and development. ARP aims to further the scientific study of personality through our biannual conference, through the official journal of the association (Journal of Research in Personality), and through a major journal co-sponsored with several other scientific associations (Social Psychological and Personality Science). We invite you to browse our web pages and learn more about the Association and about the field of personality psychology.

If you are interested in joining ARP, please follow the link to our membership form.

If you are a member and are not receiving your JRP subscription, please contact Lynne Cooper at the address below.  To access SPPS on-line, click here.
